Day One on Repeat

If you could relive one day from your past, which day would it be and why?

I’ve been thinking about this question all day.

Memories of regret-filled yesterdays came first, then I was flooded with the days that blew my mind and changed the entire trajectory of my life.

Would it be the day I arrived to my new studio in Encinitas, CA?

Would it be the first day I surfed and the dolphins arrived to welcome me home?

Would it be the day I held on tight to the back of a beautiful man and his motorcycle as we drove a bit too fast along the California back roads and highways?

Would it be the day I barely passed the test to receive my own motorcycle license?

Would it be the day I hiked down to a nude beach in La Jolla, then met a new and very dear “dangling” friend there?

Would it be any of the days I traveled abroad?

My conclusion (so far):

I am still in all of those days and in every present moment.

Every yesterday is also this day. That day, and Day One.

Day One:

  • of a recommitment to yoga, reiki, and a meditation journey.
  • of listening to new music, like DJSource and Linhy on repeat.
  • of writing a new novel to invent (or reinvent?) the future.
  • of painting to create entirely new Universes.

If I could harness the power of every Day One and this present moment, I would.

Maybe I can.

Maybe we all can.

Is tomorrow ‘Day Two’? I don’t know.

Maybe Day One is as repetitive as DJSource in my ears.

Maybe all those past memories and days are occurring on repeat in me, too.

Maybe I can imagine a new future.

Maybe I can create an entirely different universe.

I hope so.

I’ll keep you posted.
