What’s one habit that has improved your life the most?

Expression improves my life every single day. My latest art project is painting walls. It’s a slow rhythm of rolling and brush work.
Thoughts abound as I adjust to the meditative movement. Naming each flow of internal topical discussion acknowledges the story as it chatters along a path of words.
Documenting these discussions inside here, I try to blur the harsh lines with a mindful brush.
Thinking about what people have shared lately about me, to me, swirls around. Speaking of which, I need to go feed the fish.

Fish fed. His name is Fish.

Friends call Birdanity a work of art. They say it’s deep and soulful. Owning it, I can do and be that.
Still, I sometimes judge my creative lines. Reclaiming the white space of older canvases often, I place written material in the background of a drafty wall.
No one sees these anymore, but me. Only on rare occasion do I go back to edit and revise.
Memories,
man.

Fish for what you wish. Bird’s do that too.
Be warned: I may fart in the oven while painting a wall’s worth of a giant white canvas. Still a weirdo.
Signed,
Steph Bird
