Do you believe in Karma?
I stopped fighting karma.
I need to be still.
It hurts myself and others.
Most people believe in some form of Karma. Some call it God.
Blessings or wrath.
The word Karma is like asking if I believe that God exists, then expecting me to say yes to that possibility on repeat.
It’s learned.
I was programmed.
It’s a repetitive brain activity.
Perhaps that’s a need for some.
The societal rules we create under the concepts of Karma often lead to defining something or someone as bad or good.
Each unique version of Karma’s wrath then becomes based on a set of rules, ethics, morals and values from a book. An older book, often the Bible.
An even older book, the Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu reads:
“When people see some things as beautiful, other things become ugly.
When people see some things as good, other things become bad.
Being and non-being create each other.
Difficult and easy support each other.
Long and short define each other.
High and low depend on one another.
Before and after follow one another.”
Truth is, I decide. I ask for Karma to exist, then it does.
I am the one who defined a necessary karmic correction.
Sometimes in my hurt, I feel a negative energy wave, then vision sending it someone else’s way. Hopes that they see/feel the hurt they may have been a party to or even caused.
Sometimes they do. Rarely is there an apology though. If all of us did that, perhaps we’d be calling out to one another more often.
And truly, for the time I felt fear, sadness or anger, I am the one living in their Karma.
Negative or positive thoughts affect my health (as well as theirs).
*
I also relate the concept that when people believe something is going to happen, often it eventually does.
Unfortunately or fortunately, Karma may turn her beautiful head around and say, “You first.”
You first. Your thoughts of happiness, fulfillment, guilt, anger, sadness, etc.
You first.

Our bodies, organs, they scream to be heard. Our minds may race, still running on overdrive.
We choose what to listen to. What we read. Which thoughts we carry in the home of our minds.
We choose what we allow to fester. Which energy we allow to bloom like weeds.
Whether it is a weed or a flower is subjective.
The waves of energy we radiate toward that flower or weed, indeed, come to fruition. They come back around. That’s the flow of thought and vocal waves.

Today that’s what I think and feel about Karma.
So today, Karma, let my thoughts be positive.
Let my assumptions and beliefs about others live in awareness.
Let my home, my body, be a healthier vessel than I was yesterday.
Let my age and experience be my guide.

I am at home with my records, believing everyone gets to pass life’s tests.
I release the desire to keep score.
Forget to blow off the dust of evidence files and who did what to whom.
I’m not the Judge.
Is Karma
a judge?
*
I’m reading more books. I’ve also had my fill of self-judgment.
I know enough.
I’ve learned enough.
I am enough. You are enough, too.
I did the best I could today to BE that.
*
Enough.
*
It’s
Time
for Quiet
Observation.
