Do you set personal goals for yourself?
No. I used to.
This question makes me wonder if future me needs goals, and if the past versions of me needed them either.
I have this t-shirt that reads, “You Are Enough.” I really do mean it. There’s no exception, therefore I am already enough, too.
Yes, I love and have loved many people.
Yes, I get angry with a few of them.
Yes, I express imperfections. Mine and others.
Yes, I am human.
When did perfection become the goal?
Am I perfect or imperfect when I let go of goal setting?
Is it okay to simply be and do what feels right? And until the next thing that I also feel like doing?
What if good, better, best, higher power, bad, worse, worst, and evil weren’t even in our dictionary?
I’m removing them from my vocabulary. Now it’s simply, “different” or “unique.”
I also have zero goals. I already met them. An always-wandering status with a ‘You Are Enough’ t-shirt is now me.

Off to do laundry.
Laundry is not a goal, though. I am simply wandering to the dryer to hug warm fabric.
Also, I don’t value wrinkles.
I do value imperfection.

Okay, Fine.
I do… value wrinkles, too.
…sometimes…
