Lessons from a Cat

Sometimes

I watch him

and wonder:

“Why would

he ever

want to

leave the

house?

It’s a

scary

world

out there.”

And Max?

He smells

the fresh air.

He meows

for freedom

and adventure.

He longs

for the peace

and contentment

of going on a walk.

That cat’s attitude

is inspirational.

It’s filled with

curiosity and

excitement.

He believes

in safety

and what

could be.

I love

that cat,

and then

We go

Outside

Together.
