Friends?
Other friends.. tell me they like my parables of stories. Still, for whatever reason I feel like being quieter than most these days. Truth is, I exhaust(ed) myself with all the stress about my professional (and personal) work too.
Getting serious? I am on “sabbatical” so I work some, volunteer a lot, hike, and wander on community walks wondering all but too often “why did…?” and “what’s next?”
Wandering, yesterday’s answers from the Univers(ity) on my hike were:
“Do you trust me?”
“Trust me and hold my hand?….”
“Trust me, what’s coming may be a good life”?
Funny is living life holding hands with the ghost of an omnipresent Creator of the Universe. Yet not as hilarious as one might expect. Too many times on my hike I stopped to consider and even justify each short-breathed and clown-like step. “Should I go back?… Should I go forward?… Should I stay committed to the goal of this remote cabin?“
My legs and Nature’s reply… “I don’t know the answer for you, and trust yourself. enjoy the moment?” Man, it’s a life’s purpose and practice of learning to trust the “Unknown” miracle that created lil’ old me.
Loving what is? It’s almost an infinite art form. This learning to live in a world of infinite possibility is only every moment of every day I feel the need to live like a naive babe.
All I know today after an exhausting hike yesterday to a cabin that was not ultimately “meant to be”? SomeOne who loves me was there, pushing my lazy baby butt up that snowy mountain with two backpacks on.
Trust? I am sorely trusting that unknown character (I sometimes call “Dad”). I trust “my” Parents: her/him/them. I trusted yesterday and I will trust that Presence again today.
TRUST Tomorrow…? Laughing or crying with me – feeling and observing it all – I will trust the universal One (with No Name?). The One who loves and hates me, but only Emotionallly unconditional in full spectrum, I just am = Being with myself.
me? Trusting the Unknown.
you? Learning to live in Possibility 24×7?
Amen.🙏

(even under 24 hour Surveillance?… LOL, yes!)
